The department of cardiology was founded in the year 2025.Since its inspection, under the visionary leadership of HOD Dr. Syed Maqbool Ahmad Shah, the department has provided excellence in patient care based interventional cardiology services including primary PCI (24 x7 availability), complex coronary interventions(bifurcation, CTO, left main, ROTA, orbital atherectomy, IVL), structural heart interventions (ASD, VSD, PDA device, BMV,RSOV closures), stenting of coarctation of aorta, peripheral artery interventions, pacemakers implantation, AICD, CRT-P,CRT-D implantation, LBBB-A pacing, electrophysiology and ablation services, besides training & monitoring of DrNB cardiology residents and medical students.
